Rose’N’Bloom Pink Moscato, California 2011, Rosenblum Cellars
We first tasted this one at the Durango Wine Merchant . It was a little bubbly, not overly sweet like some Moscato’s can be. Enjoyable.

We tasted this delightful bottle at the Durango Wine Merchant. It was bubbly, refreshing and very flavorful with hints of strawberry, raspberry and cherries. Another party in your mouth. This wine comes from a New Mexico winery.

Beringer, White Zinfandel Moscato
This is an inexpensive pink Zinfandel Moscato. It is not something we would recommend to share with friends. Just an ordinary wine.

Upon opening the bottle, your senses come alive with the aroma of fresh picked strawberries. This unique taste treat continues to burst in your mouth with the taste of ripe juicy strawberries delicately blended with zinfandel wine. An unforgettable treat to the senses. Four Leaves Winery donates a portion of the cost to the Breast Cancer Foundation.

Summer Peach, Deming, N.M.
This wine is bursting with the taste of fresh ripe peaches. We found the first sip bursting with summer flavors in your mouth, but it left an unpleasant aftertaste.
Seduction, Rose Wine, Don Quixote Distillery, New Mexico
The winery states, “Our rose petal wine is an Eastern European treat made from organic rose petals. Aromatic and slightly sweet this herbal wine is lightly fortified.”
We thoroughly agree with their statement. We found it to have a floral bouquet and is the most unusual wine we have ever tasted. Needless to say, we purchased a bottle for our wine collection and a special celebration.
Angelica Dessert Wine, Don Quixote Winery, New Mexico
This history of this wine is interesting. It was invented by Spanish Missionaries in Colonial New Mexico in 1628 as alter wine. Don Quixote winery states,” Our Angelica is made using the same four hundred year old recipe originally used. This very sweet wine was America’s first export product, growing so popular in Europe that Spain outlawed its importation. Don Quixote is proud to bring this native New Mexico product home.”
We found it a exceptional sipping wine to share on special occasions.

Koenig Vineyards, Riesling Ice Wine, Snake River Valley
The grapes for this wine were pressed while frozen in the late days of December. The resulting wine is sweet and full of body. It has a rich flavor that lingers on your pallet with a hint of apples and pears. If you want a great dessert wine, we would recommend this Ice Wine.
Beso Blush, Vino del Carazon
Beso means “Kiss”. We found this blush wine very flavorful and light. It is a blend of watermelon, raspberry and strawberry. We purchased a bottle after tasting it for its unique flavor. We shared this on Valentines’s Day.
